Living a life fully connected to our own essence is amazing – there is clarity of purpose, the ability to “go with the flow,” a feeling of aliveness, the sense that circumstances are as they should be, and an abundance of physical, spiritual and mental energy. As my son used to say – “It’s awesome!” I truly believe that we are all capable of living our lives in this manner and that in doing so we give the gifts of our own spirit to the world. Can you imagine what this place would be like if we all lived this way? If you decide to take advantage of my offer of a free 30 minute coaching session , the focus will be primarily on you - so this is my opportunity to share with you a little about myself so you can better make the decision of whether I might be the right coach for you.

Some people know from an early age what they want to be when they "grow up." Not me! Mine was a twisted path. I formally came to coaching after 25 years in corporate IT. I say "formally" because much of what I did as a software development manager and project manager was to coach the folks on my team. Along the way, I studied medicinal herbs and used that knowledge to author “The Traveler’s Natural Medicine Kit” and co-edit “Planting the Future.”

Still, there was a part of me that felt untapped - I wanted to formalize my connection to Spirit, so I began the path to ordination at The Chaplaincy Institute for Arts and Interfaith Ministries and was later ordained an Interfaith Minister. While fulfilling, there was still a sense of it being not quite enough - yet! It wasn't so much that I had taken a wrong turn, as much as I needed more fine-tuning.

While I was in my ordination program, I kept telling my manager that I felt my calling was to bring spiritual values to the work place - to corporate life. This is a scary, sometimes off putting, notion to most folks in management, as business is decidedly secular. As I reflected and spoke about my ideas, I realized that what I call "spiritual" is not about religion, but is about living life in alignment with one's values. The macro corollary in business would be "performing in alignment with the mission." But it's more than that, of course!

Something kept telling me to explore coaching - for myself and as a profession. So I went to The Coaches Training Institute for my education and began coaching. Coaching allows me to combine all of my skills, experience and passions into one discipline. It's all about helping people to communicate, to live large, and to be more of who they really are. I truly believe that when people live in this way, the world becomes a better place.

I invite you to join me on the journey ...
