Lou Raye is a professional coach and trainer of coaches. Her greatest pleasure is in coaching managers to become more productive, both individually and through others, and to manage their relationships with bosses and peers more effectively. She works with you to help you gain clarity about what is important to you in your life and work. She helps with such things as:
- Setting business goals and making action plans to achieve them.
- Managing the dynamics of your organization.
- Developing strategies for advancing yourself.
- Creating professional development plans.
- Achieving congruence with your values and your work
- Finding balance between home and work.
Lou Raye and her husband Brian designed and direct the Business Coaching Certificate program offered by the NC State University. The program, which follows the International Coach Federation's (ICF) guidelines for coach specific training, prepares people to become either independent or internal business coaches. We also provide in-house training in coaching skills for managers.
For five years she worked as a project manager in an organization where coaching was part of the management structure. In this role she coached team members and supervised the coaching work of my deputy manager. She then became a training manager in the same organization, and for 7 years trained managers in coaching. More recently, she headed a leadership development organization in the Triangle area.
Lou Raye holds a Master's degree in Training and Development and am certified as a Professional Certified Coach by the ICF. She is a Past President of the Triangle Chapter of the American Society of Training and Development and a member of the Triangle Organization Development Network. [ Top ]
