| | Fay Krapf’s career has spanned 28 years in coaching, training, and business. She brings over 15 years of experience in career development, training, and organizational development; over 12 years of career management, career transitions, and leadership coaching. She has worked with a wide range of professionals, managers, and executives in high tech, biotech, manufacturing, health care, public sector, education, government, and service industries – from Fortune 500 companies to startups.
Fay has been an internal consultant with a Fortune 500 manufacturing company, director of organization development for a utility, and owner of a pottery manufacturing business and craft gallery. As a full-time adjunct faculty member for 5 years at Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina, Fay taught Business Communications to undergraduates and Career Development to MBA peer counselors who coached all the MBAs with job search.
Fay specializes in executive and professional development coaching, and career development and transitions coaching, organization alignment for talent utilization, and employee/manager development. She has coached hundreds of clients through career planning and transitions, and has served as a career coach in outplacement and career management firms. In addition she serves as a mentor coach and visiting faculty for the North Carolina State University Business Coaching Certificate Program.
She holds a MS in Organization Behavior from the California School of Professional Psychology, and is a graduate of CoachU and a Certified Career Fellow Practitioner through the Institute of Career Certification International. Fay is a member of: The NTL Institute; Association of Training and Development, RTP chapter (ASTD) and co-founder of the Career Development Forum; Triangle Organization Development Network (TODN) and former board member; Research Triangle Chapter of Association for Psychological Type and former board member – MBTI qualified; International Coaches Federation (ICF) and former local board member; the Association of Career Professionals International (ACPI) and founding local board member.
Fay has a keen ability to listen to what people are really saying, help them envision possibilities, explore options, and discover hidden opportunities. Fay believes that the key to career coaching success is to integrate values, vision, and practical action to achieve career and organizational goals.
