International Coach Federation - Raleigh Area Chapter
The Organization:
The International Coach Federation - Raleigh Area Chapter (formerly known as North Carolina Association of Personal and Business Coaches) is a non-profit organization designed to promote the coaching profession and foster the development of personal and business coaches in North Carolina. It is based in the Research Triangle (RTP) area of North Carolina, supporting coaches in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, and other towns in the middle of the state.
Bi-monthly programs focus on skills and strategies for enhancing professional service delivery. Association members provide professional coaching services to both individuals and groups in the business arena and in private settings.
ICF-RAC is also the RTP charter chapter of the International Coach Federation (ICF).
Membership:
There is a $50 membership fee for anyone interested in joining ICF-RAC. As of October 1, 2009, the annual membership fee will be $60. You do not have to be a member of ICF to join ICF-RAC.
The benefits of membership include the following:
- A $5 discount on programs.
- Distinctive listing and referral of coaches (find a coach) for prospective clients.
- The opportunity to collect Continuing Education Units (CEUS) to be used towards coaching certification.
- Individualized Web page identifying coaching specialties and business information.
- Networking opportunities with other coaches in the area.
